Thayer Allyson Gowdy
Hello, I am Thayer and I am a photographer and director. My love of process, light and beauty draws me to apply my vision across multiple mediums, from home design, product design and ceramics.
Casa Wilder in Ojai is my home, a sun drenched mountain town filled with olive groves and citrus. When the sun peaks in the summers I head North to my cabin in Vermont where I grow ritual flower with my family and swim in cold lakes.
I am often photographing friends with herds of sheep, floating in rivers and hiking to waterfalls drenched with sage. Always with my two best friends, a scruffy terrier & dorkie; Scout and Wilder.
My work is inspired by sincerity, color and composition. Capturing authenticity and beauty in the everyday. My lifestyle work celebrates both the sweet life and real stories.
I spend my free time with my other love, pottery or traveling to the beaches of the Balearic Islands.
